I think this psalm particularly lends itself to illustration. However, I've spent much too much time this evening scouring the web for the perfect piece of art and I haven't found it...yet. So, instead I'll share a few that stood out to me... and of course the two verses in particular that I found most inspirational.
Psalm 139: 1-11, 22-23
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.
and the light about me be night,”
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you.

I've always been intrigued by the idea of light and redemption and how they play against darkness and fear. Of course I subscribe to the idea that no matter what, you are never truly alone.
What do you think? The last painting boarders on the uncomfortable to me but I do find it thought provoking. And please, if you have a piece of art in mind, do share it with me!
Cheers,
